Life in a housing society runs on scattered WhatsApp groups. A plumber's number is buried in a chat, the shop down the road can't take orders, and nobody knows when the power will be back.
Sektar is our answer: one app where residents get things done and local people earn.
The solution
Sektar is a Laravel 13 web app and API with an Android app built in React Native. Members join after a location check that they live in their society. They order from local stores with cash on delivery and live rider tracking, book home services where the customer offers a price and providers respond, buy and sell (including cars and property), and report complaints and power, gas or water outages by phase.
A community feed, groups, polls, events, lost and found, blood donors, a places directory with the night-duty pharmacy rota, notices, helplines and prayer times run in English and Urdu. Behind it, an admin of 51 screens with per-screen staff permissions and an audit log runs every society separately.
Sektar is an independent platform and is not affiliated with any housing society or developer.
